High Speed Doors

Cost effective and energy efficient a fast payback on your investment

  • Simple design
  • Easy installation
  • Inexpensive repairs
  • 8 curtain colours

Our high speed doors are designed for applications where they will receive intensive use. The operating speed of 1 metre / second dramatically reduces draughts and temperature loss as well as optimising traffic flow. Energy costs are therefore significantly reduced, working conditions are more comfortable and productivity is improved.

Instant Pass

The Instant Pass high speed door is ideal for use on external walls, particularly on exposed sites where it can comfortably withstand bad weather conditions and high winds.

  • Construction: Primed galvanised sheet steel. Self supporting, needing only to be secured at the top and bottom. Has two legs that act as guides and a casing which spans the opening.
  • Seal: Curtain fixings are fully adjustable to ensure the rubber safety bottom edge contacts the floor to provide a reasonable seal.
  • Side guides: Feature a special aluminium extruded profile to protect the canvas curtain from excessive wear.
  • Curtain: Reinforced with horizontal steel tubes to provide resistance against high wind loads. The ends of the tubes are capped with rubber to prevent wear and reduce noise.
  • Vision panels: Two rows of windows supplied as standard. Extra rows can be fitted at no additional cost.
Instant Roll

The Instant Roll door is designed for use in external walls in less exposed locations. It can also be used internally.

  • Construction: Galvanised sheet steel, primed finish. Self supporting, needing only to be secured at the top and bottom. Has two legs that act as guides and a casing which spans the opening.
  • Seal: The rubber safety bottom edge contacts the floor to provide a reasonable seal.
  • Side guides: Incorporate nylon brushes to minimise air leakage and reduce the possibility of contamination or infestation while the door is in the closed position.
  • Curtain: The bottom of the canvas curtain is reinforced with a horizontal steel rail secured at its ends to vertical guide wires to keep the curtain taught and provide resistance against minor wind loads.
  • Vision panels: A 500mm deep full width vision panel is provided as standard. A second vision panel can be provided at extra cost.
Mini Roll

The Mini Roll door is designed for internal use only in situations with minimal air or wind pressure.

  • Construction: Extruded aluminium and galvanised sheet steel. Self supporting, needing only to be secured at the top and bottom. Has two legs that act as guides and a casing which spans the head of the opening.
  • Seal: The rubber safety bottom edge contacts the floor to provide a reasonable seal. Side guides: Incorporate nylon inserts to minimise friction and curtain wear.
  • Curtain: The bottom of the canvas curtain is reinforced with a horizontal steel tube. The curtain has small bearing wheels at horizontal centres that operate along and inside the nylon inserts to ensure the curtain is retained within the guide.
  • Vision panels: A 500mm deep, full width vision panel is provided. A second vision panel can be provided at extra cost.
